Built on judgment, not product sheets.
Ledger & Crowe was founded on a simple idea: that people making serious financial decisions deserve a senior advisor who is genuinely on their side.
A quarter century of steady counsel.
Marcus Ledger and Eleanor Crowe opened the firm in 1998 with a shared conviction: that advice should be paid for by the client, and no one else. Nearly three decades later, that fee-only, fiduciary standard still defines everything we do.
We stayed deliberately small. Every partner carries a limited client roster so the person who designs your strategy is the person who answers your call, coordinates your accountant, and sits across from your family. No hand-offs, no rotating associates, no products to push.
Today we advise founders, families, and institutions across the country, with more than $4.8 billion under advisement, and the same first question we asked in 1998: what are you actually trying to achieve?
Marcus Ledger & Eleanor Crowe, Founding Partners
Principles that outlast any market.
They are easy to write down and harder to live by. We hold ourselves to them anyway.
Independence
Fee-only, with no products to sell and no incentives that pull against your interests.
Candor
We tell you what we would do in your position, including when the answer is to do nothing.
Discipline
Long-horizon strategy, executed with patience, protects capital better than any forecast.
The people you will actually work with.
Not a bench of associates. The partners below lead engagements personally, from the first conversation onward.
