Getting found on Google

Set how your site looks in search results and when someone shares a link to it.

Open Marketing in your site's menu.

  • Title: the name search results show for your home page, up to 60 characters. Put your business name and what you do, like "Rosa's Bakery, fresh bread in Queens".
  • Description: one or two sentences under the title in search results, up to 160 characters.
  • Share picture: the photo shown when someone shares a link to your site. Without one, your main photo is used.

Search engines only see a published site. We list every page of it for them and tell them its one true address, so they find it all.

It can take days or weeks for a new site to appear in results. Your business name, your contact details and words that describe what you do and where all help people find you.
